Liberty High School Lions' Pride marching band wins Atlantic Coast Championships

After 40 years of competing in Tournament of Bands, the Liberty High School Lions’ Pride marching band won first place in Group 3 Open Class at the Atlantic Coast Championships last weekend. The competition was held Saturday, Nov. 3, in Hershey, Pennsylvania, and the band earned a score of 98.00, the highest score of any Maryland band in the history of the conference, according to a news release from Carroll County Public Schools.
